First Successful Test of OPS-1!
|
On October 31, Mindvalve's OPS-1
Emergency Services Operations system was
successfully employed during the Chapel
Hill Halloween celebration to effectively
coordinate emergency team response to
hundreds of incidents during the event.
Mindvalve develops and markets web applications to fire
departments and other emergency services organizations.
Mindvalve's flagship product, OPS-1, will be launched into the
market in Spring 2007.
OPS-1 is specifically designed to transform how emergency services
organizations manage their resources - people, equipment and
apparatus. OPS-1 will give each member access to a significant
amount of highly organized information about their department --
all in one place -- and from any web browser.
While we're not ready to tell you everything about OPS-1 yet,
here's a few highlights of the types of questions it instantly
answers:
- Who on my department is Firefighter-I certified, and for how
long?
- What equipment has been changed during last month's
truck re-fit?
- What do I need to know about that new ventilation saw we
just bought?
- What apparatus and equipment are currently out of
service? What are their issues and when will they be
resolved?
- I'm creating next year's training plan - what does the
membership need specific training/refreshing on?
Mindvalve was formed in 2005 in Chapel
Hill by veteran entrepreneur David

management team member with some
of the most successful Internet
technology companies in the past 10
years, including Alteon Websystems (now
Nortel) and VxTel (now Intel).
Mr. Logan is also a firefighter in Orange
County, NC with 13 years experience.
